Very few of us go through life without being worried at some time or another. It may be a concern shared by several people or a personal worry known only to you, for example, a bereavement, ill health, a relationship issue, a separation or a divorce. It may be difficulties at work or at home. If you are facing any difficulties you would like to talk over with a counsellor, in confidence, please contact the Counselling Service to arrange an appointment.
Our counselling service offers counselling to anyone who wants to talk over their struggles or problems. We are happy to see anyone of any faith or no faith. Our counselling is not sprititual direction of prayer ministry or an 'advice giving service'. We see counselling as part of the churches' healing ministry and a 'talking therapy'.
We are here to listen to our clients and bring some insight from a more objective perspective. Our aim is to help our clients to become more confident and equip them to tackle the issues they are facing. We see this as a journey which client and counsellor embark upon together. This would usually be for 10 sessions, although this can be negostiated if appropriate.
We work in the Orpington area of North West Kent / South East London.
